multiple narrative

A few words of interest regarding the literary device multiple narrative. One method employed by authors is to present their work through several narrators. An example of this kind can be seen in The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins, in which three characters give their accounts of a series of events along with their personal views of characters they have in common. I have used this device in Following Meltdown and in DCZ: Designated Conservation Zone but not in the same manner as Paula Hawkins. In my novels, the story is taken up and carried forward by a series of narrators who can digress and branch off into side stories. Like ‘The Girl on the Train’ my characters reveal their thoughts concerning one another to the reader.
