The War on Women
Further to the legitimisation process and the violation of women in Tehrir Square during the uprising of 2011, consider the doctors who may or may not believe acts of gross indecency and rape are justified.
E.g A woman trying to sue a doctor for rape and who gained sympathy in a civilian court was obliged to take her case to a military court where he was found innocent while she was told the guilt lay with her: going to Tehrir Square was asking to be raped. Her neighbours and the press agreed.
The view that a decent woman would not protest, or even appear in public without a male escort, has become a legitimate value! Sue Lloyd Roberts gives even more distressing and outrageous examples than this in Chapter 5 of her book, The War on Women.
